RESOLUTION TO CONTINUE COVID-19 SICK LEAVE
WHEREAS,the City Of Orono has declared a Peace Time Emergency due to the COVID-
19 Health Pandemic; and
WHEREAS, the Federal requirements of the CARES act requiring certain sick leave be
granted to employees; and
WHEREAS,these requirements ended on December 31, 2020;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Orono City Council as follows the
City of Orono will continue to provide up to 80 hours of sick leave until the City's Peace Time
Emergency is declared over.
Adopted by the Council this 25th day of January, 2021.
