This letter is to advise you that such work <br /> requires City Council approval of a Conditional Use Permit. All <br /> grading work occurring within 75' of the shoreline is subject to <br /> a Variance/Conditional Use Permit review, requiring a Public <br /> Hearing before the Planning Commisison and review and approval by <br /> the City Council. <br /> I am enclosing copies of the Municipal Code Sections which <br /> affect your proposed work, and a copy of the Conditional Use <br /> Permit application. You will have to provide a survey and <br /> grading plan for the proposed work, showing the existing and the <br /> proposed contours and detailed cross sectional views. The <br /> sketches submitted by your contractor do not provide sufficient <br /> detail for review of the application. <br /> I have highlighted the pertinent sections of the application <br /> for your review and follow up.
