Dear Melanie:
We have reviewed the as-built plan for 515 Ferndale Road. The plan is dated 3-14-11. We have
the following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The as-built grading plan is acceptable from an engineering standpoint.
• The rain garden was relocated from the original plan and captures and treats more off
the storm water runoff than proposed in the approved plans.

Dear Melanie:
We have reviewed the as-built plan for 515 Ferndale Road. The plan is dated 12-7-10. We have
the following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The plan must provide greater detail showing that the intent of the original stormwater
plan was met. The plan must show:
o The rain garden in greater detail.
o Rain garden piping and/or underdrain outlets.
o Rain garden overflow.
o Greater detail in the final ground contours showing proposed drainage area 2A
drains to the rain garden.
o That project grading did not impact the ditch along the eastern property lines
which acts as an overflow for a low area east of the property.
