Tom Kellogg, City Engineer, reviewed the plan for the additional catch basin and storm
drain pipe that you dropped off Friday. The concept is acceptable but the pipe must not
extend to the lake. It must end at least 75 feet from the lake with the outlet designed to
control erosion. If this requires grading, the grading must be more than 75 feet from the
lake. Whatever is constructed should be shown on the as-built survey that will be
required before the CO is issued.
Tom also asked me to remind you that if you intend to lower the sewer manhole on the
lakeside of the property you should first consult Scott Oberaigner, Utilities Supervisor. He
will determine who will do the work. He can be reached at 952-249-4600.
