Re: Antenna Complaint
Dear Mr. Wessels:
The City of Orono has unfortunately received a further complaint
regarding the apparently on-going full extension of your antenna
tower. As noted in City Council Resolution No. 2560 which granted you
a conditional use permit for the structure, the decision to allow the
tower was partially based on your stated intent to lower the antenna
to the tree levels when not in use.
We must respectfully request that you comply with this agreement, and
lower the antenna when it is not being used. This will hopefully
eliminate future complaints so that further review of the conditional
use permit will not be necessary.
In reviewing your file, I note that the birdhouse structure adjacent
to your driveway has not been removed to a conforming location as
requested in my letter of March 1, 1991. Please take care of this as
soon as possible. Feel free to contact me at 473-7357 if you have any
questions.
