Dear Ms. March& Mr. Laron,
Your property lies within Flood Zone A, Panel#270178 001 OC, October 17, 1978. This
zone is described as areas of 100 year flood; base flood elevations and flood hazard
factors not determined.
Upon review of the City of Orono Surface Water Management Plan, Flood Zone A of
which your property encompasses has been given a 100 year flood elevation of 932.3
with normal levels at 931.5 (see attached map).
The principal residence building existing at 680 Willow Drive South appears to be at or
above the 938.0 elevation contour,placing your home above the 100 year flood elevation
designated in the City of Orono Surface Water Management Plan.
