Orono, Hennepin County This on-site Sewage Treatment System is designed for a Type I five-bedroom home in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7080 and local ordinances. The periodically saturated soils were located at 18-28 inches(mottled soil). Due to the periodically saturated soils,a pressurized mound system with 6 inches of rock will need to be installed to treat the septic effluent. The bottom of the treatment area must be located at least 3'above the saturated soils. This system is designed with 6 inches of rock All neighboring wells are greater than 100' from proposed treatment areas. The soils at a depth of 12"have a percolation rate averaging 8 MPI. A 2250 combination septic tank needs to be installed. All new tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet of cover over the top of the tanks.Clean outs must be installed on the end of the laterals for maintenance. A 1300 gallon pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent to the treatment area. The power supply and switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof enclosure.A warning device must be installed with light and sound devices;this is in case of a pump failure.A flow measurement device must be installed. Including but not limited to a water meter, event counter, cunning time clocks or electronically controlled dosing. Nothing other than arav water.(laundry showers etc ) Human tiater and toilet titicue should be disposed of into the septic tanks.Garbage disposals are not recommended Additi%es mint riot he used:they may cause harmful damage to your septic system It is recommended that N oil nu nip the tank every year for 1 septic tank, eyery two years for two septic tanks Sincerely, Joseph J.Olson WILLOW DRIVE _QOI'TH r FIR •p 71 sr .P i T , . t Z r _ ,r 8 4. __._ fir'►_... 1-4 SLAa %7. 77 _ yl.,tj _srrrm..t1aaE..ttrR 14 Xkw .ic[x.ltrtstsr --FAUc ! %MW Ai Avg sc e-41 a to IPA" 13w low WK 4"Ambar 'CA* ocaw. 6tts 6,ks SOIL BORING ELEVATIOMS MOUND SYSTEM DF_SICN T1 lirI El..•97?• tYPe-L -:C-Bedroom,Average percolation rate TKVI EL- v.gaVday L12— sq_ft of treatment area.jp_y10 ft. wift_3 ft_ length anted area f3ytctOM MUSt bp; TH-#4 El-' 3 ..:'ftm prowayr 1intx *5 EL.- .y Side slope run4_to 2 x 3!' ,eight Ott Was 46 EL-17` g ft-x S`? ft. lawn area.
