100 %ihow Drive S OF BEDROOMS INVAUDKES THIS DESIGN.
Orono. Hennepin CountN
This on-site Sewage 7 reatment System is partially designed for a Type l five-bedroom ]tome and a :
bedrooill.guest house in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agenc} Chapter 7080 and local
ordinances.
t!t+; riodicaliy saturated soils were located at 12-16 inches(mottled soil). Due to the periodically
saturared soils.a pressurized mound system with 6 inches of rock%%ill need to be installed to treat the septic
effluent. {he oottom o the treatment area must be located at least 3' above the saturated soils. This system
is designed with 6 incks of rock.
.r A lift pure-needed in the lo%%est level of the house to keep tanks shallow as per code.
Al: neighboring %%ells are greater than 100' from proposed treatment areas. 4
The soils at a depth of 12"have a percolation rate averagiag 10 MPI.
T.
1500-gallon septic tank needs to be installed for the house and the guest house. The two buildings are
to be connected to the same septic tanks.
Ail ne\v tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet of cover over the top of the tanks.Clean
outs must be installed on the end of the laterals for maintenance.
A 500 gallon pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent to the treatment area. The
Power supply and switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a Aeatherproof
enclosure-.A vyarning device must be installed with light and sound devices:this is in case of pump
fai(ltr yv measurement device must be installed. Including but not limited to a water meter, event
counter, rtinni tatUige6cks or electronicall) controlled dosing.
Nothirtf-A other tharl a%-water.(faundrv.showers etc ) Human water and toilet tissue should be
disposed of tcto the senttc tanks. Garbage disposals are not recommended Additives must not be
used, the% rnay cause harmful damage to your septic s%stem It is recommended that you Pump the
tank ever% year for I septic tan6 every two nears for t%%o seotic tanks
