Hi Molly,
Thank you for your narrative! Unfortunately due to the land-disturbing work involved (tilling and irrigation system
installation)we will need a wetland delineation done prior to landscaping work to ensure that the work is not in the
wetland.Tilling and digging for irrigation can't be done in the wetland, and it's difficult to tell where the wetland
boundary is in relation to this work. If you want to scale back the project by removing the tilling or irrigation work, or if
you'd like to relocate the grass area upland,these may be options if you don't want a wetland delineation done.
Due to the current scale of the proposed work, MCWD is unable to issue a permit for this project until a wetland
delineation has been completed.

Sam's landscape plans to
-remove buckthorn stumps in grass are close to woods
-use bio rolls between work area&wetland during project& until turf is established
-till buckthorn& grass area with tracked skid loader&tiller (no soil import)
-seed work area with turf grass
-install irrigation system in work area
-end product- have work area mowable turf grass

doing. I met with you on site with our previous wetland specialist, Beth Brown, last fall and recall that
the original proposed disturbance area was smaller than the now proposed 7,500 sq ft. I want to make
sure that no earth disturbing work will be occurring in the wetland/no equipment will be in the wetland.
