I'm sorry we weren't able to give you an answer while you were here. We figured it
out shortly after you left. The pond on the rear of your property is NOT a wetland. It
is part of the storm drain system. You can fill and re-grade up to the edge of the
easement (the broken line on your survey). The berm would need to stay five feet off
the side property line and not block the swale.
Your contractor will need a land alteration permit. It is an administrative permit
(unless you are moving over 500 cubic yards) and costs about $51.
We urge you to maintain a strip of native vegetation between your lawn and the
pond. This strip will help keep any chemicals you might use on your lawn out of the
water. (This not only helps the quality of the water but can help prevent odor.) We
can provide information on standard seed mixes if you wish.
Please call if you have any questions.

Evelyn -just wanted to give you my email address for when you might find a clarification on placing a 3 foot tall
berm near the SE corner of my property.
Thank you,
