In order to avoid penalties from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed
District which may include fees and the delivery of a Stop Work
Order, these recurring violations require prompt and immediate
attention. Working without a permit is in violation of MCWD Rules and
is a misdemeanor punishable under State Law. Work should not
continue until Rule B, erosion control permits have been issued you.
A deadline of June 12, 2001 has been given in order to resolve these
issues.
The permit holder is thereby required to:
• Printed cn recycled paper conlalning

• Pay the previous inspection fees of$370.00 levied on May 18, 2001
• Apply for necessary erosion control permits for sites not currently
permitted —this is to be done before any construction activity begins
• Install silt fences to MCWD specifications (entrenched six inches) in
the front of each site, on all downhill slopes and around stockpiles
• Silt fence must be maintained in order to be effective and up to
MCWD standards
• Routinely maintain streets to be free and clear of debris
A MCWD representative will be joined by a city official to inspect the
required repairs made to the construction sites later in the week at the
Willow View Drive development. As for the Wolf Point Woods
Development, MCWD can no longer tolerate the lack of concern and
complete disregard for District Rules demonstrated by RVC Homes
and has thereby requested the assistance of the City of Long Lake in
this matter. The City of Long Lake will contact you with further details.
Thank you for your prompt cooperation and immediate attention to
these issues. If you have any questions please contact Barb Moeller,
District Technician or myself at 952-471-0590.
Sincerely,
