Dear Mr. Ellis:
I am writing in regards to the "accessory structure" located at 965 Willow View that has
been of concern for you and the Association. I went to the property and took
photographs of the "accessory structure". I presented the photographs at a staff meeting
with the Planning Staff and the rest of the Building Inspection Department. I then had
the opportunity to show the photos to the City Attorney.
It was unanimous that the City considers this "accessory structure" a playhouse and there
fore exempt from the building code and it meets the required setbacks as per the zoning
ordinance. I hope this information has been helpful.
