During routine inspections by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) staff at the above
Web Site: mentioned locations, the following violations of permits #03-412 and #02-485 were observed and
www.minnehaJtiacreek.org recorded on August 20, 2003:
970 Willow View:
• Silt fence lacking around entire site, especially on rear of site by wetland
• No silt fence should be removed until final inspection by MCWD staff and site is 100%
vegetated
Board of Managers 845 Willow View:
Pamela Kat • Gravel drive is lacking in some areas
James Calkins
• Silt fence failing in spots around entire site.
Lance Asher The MCWD requires that the permit holder take the following action:
Susan Goetz 970 Willow View:
Monica Gross • Replace all silt fence that has been taken down in accordance with the plan accepted by
MCWD
Richard Miller • Notify MCWD of vegetation plans by Noon,August 27,2003.
Scott Thomas • Fees or a stop work order will be issued if these matters are not taken care of.
845 Willow View:
• Maintain and install silt fencing to MCWD specifications until disturbed soils are vegetated.
Install silt fences in the front of each site, on all downhill slopes and around stockpiles. Silt
fence must be trenched In 6 Inches and installed according to instructions.
• Repair all compromised silt fence areas.
• Add additional gravel to drive so no exposed sediment Is visible.
To avoid formal enforcement action from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District which may
include fees for additional Inspections and legal costs, and the delivery of a Stop Work Order,
please implement the above mentioned corrections by Noon, Wednesday August 27,2003(for
970 Willow View),and Noon, Friday, August 29,2003 (for 845 Willow View).Thank you for
