During routine inspections by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District(MCWD) staff on July 31,
2003, at the above mentioned location the following violations were recorded:

• Silt fence missing from the bottom of downhill slopes.
Web Site: • Some silt fence installed on site. Silt fence not installed in all areas where it is required to be

• A$100.00 After-the-fact permit fee is required for each project started without a MCWD
• permit(if not received by August 7,2003)
Formal enforcement action to which a permittee may be subject for permit violations includes
issuance of a stop work order, criminal misdemeanor prosecution, and fees for additional
inspections and legal costs.Working without a permit where one is required is in violation of
MCWD Rules and is a misdemeanor subject to penalty by law.Work must stop until a permit is

Install silt fences in the front of each site, on all downhill slopes and around stockpiles. Silt
fence must be trenched In 6 Inches and installed according to instructions.
• Repair all compromised silt fence areas.
• Add additional gravel to drive so no exposed sediment Is visible.
To avoid formal enforcement action from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District which may
include fees for additional inspections and legal costs, and the delivery of a Stop Work Order,
please implement the above mentioned corrections by Noon, Wednesday August 27,2003(for
970 Willow View),and Noon, Friday, August 29,2003 (for 845 Willow View).Thank you for
