As we discussed the 10 foot structure to structure setback is not a building code requirement it's a City of Orono requirement, reference City Code Section 78-1438. Plumbing in an Accessory Structure. A toilet and sink are allowed within the accessory structure with a building/plumbing permit. If a tub or shower is desired, it will require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). The CUP process takes about 2 '/ months and requires a public hearing at a planning commission meeting and council approval. Reference City Code Section 78-1437. Curb Cuts. According to City Code Section 18-136(a) each property is allowed one curb cut/driveway approach. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
