Dear Mr. Vogelgesang:
On Wednesday, November 21, 2001 I inspected the site regarding the issuance of a Certificate of
Occupancy (C.O.) for the new house that has been constructed. The site plan and hardcover
calculations you provided to me on November 20, 2001 did not indicate several items that are
hardcover on the property. The final hardcover for the 75-250'setback can not exceed 25%. Based
on the site plan you have submitted,I believe the hardcover on the property exceeds what is allowed
by ordinance. I have made a list of items that should be reflected on the final site plan prior to
issuance of the C.O.
1. There are three boulder retaining walls that are located on the west side of the house around
the sidewalk leading to the primary entrance.
2. There is a fourth retaining wall located off the south end of the house.
3. The driveway as depicted on the final site plan may actually be larger than is shown on the
plan.
4. The stairway leading from the deck is not reflected on the site plan or in the hardcover
calculations.
5. The stairway off the south entrance to the house is not reflected on the site plan and is not
included in the hardcover calculations.
6. A concrete pad is located on the south side of the garage that is not on the site plan and is not
included in the hardcover calculations.

7. The final grades from the north driveway access that has been removed should be regraded
to not direct water runoff to the street. Runoff should be directed per the finished grading
plan.
The conditions of the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy still apply.

Dear Mr. Vogelgesang:
I am writing this letter per our conversation today regarding the issuance of a final Certificate of
Occupancy for the property located at 1080 Wildhurst Trail. Per our November 21, 2001 letter we
conducted a final site inspection and determined the total hardcover on the property exceeds 25%
in the 75-250' lakeshore setback. You may reduce the hardcover anyway you choose to meet the
25%total. By reducing the size the driveway to accommodate the added hardcover for the stairway.
retaining walls and garage you may be able to meet this requirement.
Following a final inspection of the revised site plan a Certificate of Occupancy can be issued.
