TO: James Cosby, Village Administrator
J FROM: Dexter Marston, Zoning Administrator
DATE: October 24, 1973
SUBJECT: Variance - Kathleen Kjensrud - 1025 Wildhurst Trail
Lot 58 - Tonkaview Gardens
An application for a variance from the moratorium and lot width s.
requirement was made on October 23, 1973. Given the nature of
the variance, (10' short of the required 140' width) , the availability
of sewer, and the character of the area, I felt it would be
inappropriate to hold this application for processing until next
month.
At the last Planning Commission meeting, the commission members
j agreed that I should be given greater authority in reveiwing 4.
3 applications which were minor in nature and limited as to alternatives
1 available. Mr. Paurus and I plan on designing some guidelines to
make this recommendation more specific , but I think this is a good '
i ., example of the type of application that the Planning Commission
feels would be unnecessary for them to review.
1.
I would recommend that the Council approve a variance from the lot
width requirement and from the moratorium.
