Requests must be picked up at the City offices unless other arrangements have been made. The
charges for reprints of oversized documents and building plans/blueprints are based on the
following:

Calculating Charges for Reprints:
1. Image
Each image scan=$5.00
2. Print on Bond Paper

Add the image scan cost of$5.00 plus the cost of the print by paper size; i.e. a 17 x 22"reprint would cost
$6.50
The size of the reprint depends on what size the customer wants and the size of the original drawing.
Sometimes the customer wants the reprint to be the same size as the original,but it could also be smaller
or larger.
3. Special Handling Fee
1-3 images No Charge
4-9 images $12.50 (approximately 1/4 hour)
10+images $25.00 (approximately 1/2 hour)*
*If you have approximately 20 images, it would be $50.00.
4. Pickup/Delivery Fee
$15.00—includes both pickup and delivery
5. Sales Tax
Add 6.5% sales tax on Prints, Special Handling fee and Pickup/Deliver Fee.
Scan charge and Clerical fee are non-taxable
6. Clerical Fee
$5.00 as listed in the Orono Fee Schedule

or Building Plans and Blueprints

Description of Process
Microfilm is scanned and a digital image is created. The digital image is then sent to another department
to be plotted out and printed to bond paper. The"blowback"process is no longer used.

Schedule a Job
1. Have the customer complete the Request for Reprint form and pay for the estimated charges.
2. Go to Water Plant and pick up microfilm in the jacket to be sent to Engineering Repro.
3. Provide instructions for the reprint job(sample attached-3`d page of X:\Data\Administrative
Support\(Instructions-Procedures)\Reprints of Oversized Documents-instructions.doc).
3. On the envelope,indicate:
Attn: Imaging Department
4. Call Engineering Repro at 763-694-5900 and ask for Communications. (You could also ask for
Grant or Sam and they can schedule the pickup.) Request a driver to pick up microfilm that is to
be scanned and reprinted to bond paper.
5. Allow 24 hours for most jobs to be returned.
6. Return microfilm in jacket to the Water Plant.
