1 am writing in response to your request for a zoning compliance letter regarding the property addressed
2725 Wayzata Boulevard West in Orono. The property is located within Orono's Industrial zoning
district whereby according to City Zoning Code Section 78-823 mini-storage is an allowed conditional
use. The Industrial District code is enclosed for your reference.The property is in FEMA Flood Insurance
Rate Map Zone X which is outside the area of 0.2%chance of flood (which is outside of the 1%chance or
100-year floodplain). Additionally, the property is also governed by conditions within the Crystal Bay
Business Center Development Contract; if you require a copy of this document please let me know.
As the site exists today, the property complies with all zoning requirements. Recently, 2725 Wayzata
Boulevard West was granted City Council approval of a conditional use permit for a mini-storage use.
The application was reviewed as zoning file 11-3530 and approval is based on City of Orono Resolution
No. 6099 (enclosed).
