Dear Gregg:
I have been trying to reach you since before the first snow last year concerning the matter of
trash and other miscellaneous materials (such as a china toilet stool, large boxes, etc.) that you
have either stored or discarded onto my property. You and I have covered this issue before and I
am disappointed that you continue to have so little neighborly regard for my property.
I am requesting that you remove all the junk and other items placed on my property by you, or
your agents, and to move the shed, that you built partially onto my property, back onto your
side of the property line.
In addition to the unsightliness, the trash is destroying the ground cover in my wooded area and I
therefore request that you remove all of the trash on my side of the property line within the
next thirty days.
If you have not removed all of the trash in thirty days, I will seek a court remedy to compel you
to do so and ask for compensation for the damage you have caused.
As I am informed that you intend to sell your home, I also ask that you move the shed, which you
built a number of feet onto my property, back onto your own property. I can appreciate that this
is difficult in the winter.Therefore, I am willing to permit you to post a five hundred dollar
bond with my attorney on the proviso that the shed be moved immediately following the spring
thaw. I will not accept your word to do so;the shed must be moved or a bond posted.
I would much rather you simply remove the trash and the shed without creating any further
problems for either of us. If you do so, in a timely manner, I will be completely satisfied. Please
call me so that, if possible, we may work this out between ourselves.
