This site ha= an existing on-site sewage treatment system which is classified as non-
compliance, ailing under Minnesota Chapter 7080 rules due to not meeting the
required sop=ration from the bottom of the system &the mottled soil (redox features).
The bottom of the system was found at approximately 30" & 36" below gr,gde; e ,
mottled soil .:t 22" & 34" below grade. The upgrade period will need Vim,. - •
by the City o Orono.
Soil borings : percolation tests were completed for a new system for a four bedroom
home. Mottl-d soil was found at 26" & 28" below grade. A pressurized mound system
will need to oe installed to treat septic effluent.
The soils at = depth of 12" have a percolation rate of 5.4 mpi.
Keep all he-vy equipment off of the proposed treatment area before and after
construction
The design 'll need to be completed prior to obtaining a building permit.
