Nicole,
Attached are the permit requirements from the 2015 Minnesota Building Code. You will see that the exception to the
requirement for a permit for a shed type structure is 200 Sq.ft. of floor area. Per our conversation on 11/4/16 I talked
about that the plans that were submitted showed more than 200 sq.ft. of floor area. Here is a link to the Department of
Labor and Industry website that allows you to read the 2015 Building Code.
