Dear City of Orono:
LOCO Partners, LLP is the owner of the above-referenced property. Any labor or
materials you may be providing to the property are being provided at the instance of a
tenant of the property, Harvest Moon Natural Foods Cooperative, Inc., and not at the
instance of the owner. Therefore, contractors and subcontractors providing such labor or
materials have no right to mechanic's liens under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 514 in the
event they are not paid for such labor or materials by the tenant or contractor.
