You inquired about the outdoor display and sale of golf carts and trailers at the property addressed
2120 Wayzata Boulevard West. This property is located in the B-1 Retail Sales Business District; a copy
of the appropriate code section is attached.
Selling of golf carts and trailers is not currently an allowed use in the B-1 district. If a person would like
the city to consider allowing such a use, an application to amend the City Code should be pursued. An
application to consider an amendment to the municipal code requires a $700 application fee. All
consultant fees the City may incur as part of the review of such an application will be passed through to
the property owner to pay. This may include City Engineer or Attorney fees. An escrow in the amount of
$700 is also required. The escrow will be refunded following payment of all pass-through consultant fees.
The application fee is non-refundable. If you are interested in making a zoning code amendment
application, please contact me.
