HELD APRIL 3, 1990
ATTENDANCE 7:10 P.M. -
The Park Commission met on the above date with the following
members present: Lester Kelley, Alexander Vongries, Bruce
Kokal, Philip Bradley and Lee Erger. The following represented
the City staff: Public Works Director Gerhardson. The following
persons were absent: James Gilbert and Richard Flint.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES -
The minutes of the March 6th meeting were approved.
PARK PLAN DOCUMENT -
A discussion on the matter of revising the Orono Park Plan
Document of 1980 followed. Vongries and Kokal volunteered to
work with Gerhardson to prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) form
to be sent to professional park planning firms. The Commission
will review and approve the RFP at the May lst meeting.
BEDERWOOD PARR -
The Commisson discussed the Council approved baseball field
at Bederwood Park, and directed Gerhardson to prepare a design
plan for enlarging the parking lot and building sites for
structures for review at the May meeting.
ADJOURNMENT 8:45 P.M.
The regular Park Commission meeting was adjourned at 8 :45
p.m. The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 1, 1990 at 7 :00 p.m.
