Mr. Peters:
This letter is in response to your request for a zoning compliance letter regarding the property at 2160
Wayzata Boulevard West in Orono. The subject property is located within Orono's B-1, Retail Sales
Business district. City Zoning Code Section 78-643 lists the permitted uses. The B-1 District code is
attached for your reference.
The City has information on this property dating back to 1972 which includes numerous building permits
and land use permits for various uses and improvements. The file is available for review by the public
during our business hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
As the site exists today it appears that the property complies with all zoning requirements and there are
no known violations. Any future development of the property or proposed uses would be expected to
comply with all of the existing B-1 District zoning standards.
