Morse raised the issues of Boardmember Orientation,
Park Board Charter or Statement of Goa1s, "Know
your Park Commission" article in local paper and
need to meet on a regular basis. Ideas were
discussed by all members. Gerhardson suggested
that meeting with City Administrator and regular
attendance at Planning Commission/City Council
meetings would also help promote visibility.
RISR SURVEY BY NSRS - SEPTEMBER 9, 1986
Gerhardson handed out copies of survey to
Commissioners for their information and potential
action. Survey found potential hazards in three
areas : lack of impact resistant surfaces under
play equipment, injury potential of inerry-go-round

Gerhardson recommended that Commissioners visit
Antoine Park and other parks with play equipment
