The Orono Park Commission met on the above date ATT�DANCE with the following members present: Chairman Tomlinson, Erger, Berglund, Peterson, and Watson. Not Present: Kelley. The minutes of the January meeting were read MINUTES and approved. ------- No further development on the status of the CITY PROPERTY City owned lakeshore property on F'orest Lake. Further discussion of the Park Dedication fee PARK DEDICATION FE�;S ordinance draft. Chairman Tomlinson had a new draft of the proposed ordinance showing a new fee schedule. Old and new fees were compared, but the new fees didn� t differ. Not a good straight line arrangement. At this time, cash is being accepted in line with the feelin� that no additional park property is needed by the city. Tomlinson talked with Alan Olson and told him that he didn� t think there would be any resistance by the Park Com�nission to these new fees. Questions raised at the January Park Commiss- PROPOSED ORDINANCE ion meeting on the proposed ordinance were discussed at the last city council meeting. Tomlinson reported that: 1 . Monies already accepted are separately recorded, but the cash itself, is in the operatin� fund of the city. 2. Roll of the Park Commission will re- main unchanged under the New Ordinance. 3. Disbursements from the Park Dedication Funds are only at the discreation of the city council. 4. Orono Golf Course does not come under the jurisdiction of the Park Commission. The City Council would like the Park Commission to LAND DEVELOPMENT inquire into Land Development usage and present some ideas to them in the future. DNR is lookin� to us for a recommendation on the DNR-LUCE LINE Luce Line Access (1 -5 acres) resulting from the proposed ring route at the junction of Cty. Rd. 19 & 6th Avenue N. (Ski-Tonka) Daniels playground nea.r the Navarre Shoppin.g Center: Disposal of house, and proposed future use wil1. be discussed at the future meetinga. Meeting Adjourned.
