Chairman Lathrop requested our approval for SNOWMOBILE TRAIL
a snowmobile trail along the creek bed in BEDERWOOD PARK
Bederwood Park. Discussion concerned this
being a temporary allowance since the park
is not yetdeveloped. Hurr questioned
their stayin on a "marked path. " This
would have to be approved by the Council
because current ordinance allows no motorized
vehicles in parks.
Hennipen County is requesting approval of SNOGJMOBILE RAMP
a ramp for snowmobiles on Crystal Bay at
the end of Tonkawa Road, 135. The exact
size or material used in construction of
this ramp was not clear. The Park Commission
felt that the LMCD must be notified concerning
their restrictions;
l. That anything be temporary,
2. If of snow, it must not contain road salt,
3. Be small enough to not be a ramp for automobiles.
The idea of wood for easy removal was suggested.
They are going to put up snowmobile crossing SNOWMOBILE CROSSING
signs on 51 and on both sides of 135 SIGNS
Prospective new member, Les Kelly, was accepted
by the Commission. This was done by a telephone
