Regular hieeting of the Orond Park Commission, 8: 30 P.M.
October 22, 1975
The Orono Park Commission met on the above
date with the following members present:
Chairman Opheim, Berglund, Hallowell, and
Peasley. Absent: Kallestad, Kubalsky,
Lathrop, Leipold, Oberhauser, and Panuska.
Also present, John Gerhardson, Public Works
Director.
P4ro Gerhardson reported that County Road #135 BIKE/HIKE TRAIL
cannot be designated as an official bike/hike #135
trail as it does not meet the qualifications
as to uniform widtho
Bayside Road will have to be placed on hold BAYSIDE ROAD
for a bike/hike trail.
Mr. Gerhardson �aid the County suggested that PLYMOUTH BIKE/HIKE
the bike/hike committee contact the City of COMMITTEE
Plymouth's bike/hike trails committee.
The Park Commission is open for suggestions LARSON P:'.OPERTY
for a name for the Larson property park.
Opheim called to the Commissions' attention RESIGNATION
his letter of resignation as chairman. He Dave Opheim
said that he would remain on the Commission
as an active member.
Berglund moved, Opheim seconded, that the APPC?INTPZENT
Park Commission recommend Walter Lathrop's Walter L•,t'.�Y�p
appointment as chairman of Orono's Park
Commission. Tylotion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
