The Park Commissioii recommends the prouvsed
riparian rights ordinance, It agrees iaitii the
basic concept of control of t:e lake s:iore so
that it wi11 not be misused. It was felt,
hazrever, that newly created lots could be given
riparian riglits under sensible guidelines.
Example: A presently undivided parcel t'iat
abuts the lake could be divided in such a way
as to give riparian rights . As a guideline,
10' of lake shore +rould be provided for eac3i
building site.
It is further recommended that the Planning
Commission should stuciy this ordinance.
Respectfully submitted,
Gretchen Hallowell
