The Park Commission met on tiie above date
witi� tiie following members present: C]iair-
man Ogland, Jones , Leipold, Stanke , ldhite,
and tVysocky. Absent: Jarl and Panuska.

Jauuary 18, 1972 were read and approved.
llavid Opheim presented a letter he wrote to LAiCE ACCESS
t:ie Parl: Commissioii regardi�lg tiie use of snot,r-
mobiles. Onland commented that tiie commission
iias the rig�it and obligation to control fire lanes .
�'�ysocky moved, Stanl:e seconded, to post signs
at fire lanes reading "No Snotvmobiles Allowed".

John Sunde nresented a Neniiepin County Park �IENNEPIN COUNTY PARK
Reserve District plan for r�.ultiple use trails RESEP,VE DISTRICT - Trails
designated as to their use. He discussed the
feasibility of bike, hike, horsebac�: and ski
touring trails and rec�uested the reaction of
our commission to the concept.
