Regular A4eeting of the Park Commission, 8: 10 P.;�i.
June 15, 1971
Tlie Park Commission met on the above date
with tlie follotiaing rnembers present: Chair-
man Ogland, Dorrel, Jarl , Jones , and lYysocky.
Also present: Administrator P�iartin, Council-
man ��4cCarthy and Davi�� Streater. Absent:
Falilin, Leipold, Panuska, Smith, Stanke , anc1.
lVhite.
Davic! Streater gave an interesting report GOLF COURSE
ancl showed slides of the Orono Golf Coi�rse ,
stressing the development of possible �,rinter
sports . These will be more feasible after
all payments on the golf course have been
made. It was suggestec� tliat the club l�ouse
be a possible site of a future meeting.
REPORTS:

Bob Dorrel and. Dicic Benson are �vorkin�;
on a lay-out Plan. They need a price
list of equipment.
2) ��Ir. Jarl reported on the Price of back- BACKSTOPS

on the desirability of materials followecl,
(Prices ran�ed from �435 to �6R3) .
3) Kutz Property KtiTZ PROPERTY
Tlie recommendation to t!ie Council was
read by Jim Ogland to purchase t'ie 12-
acre proPerty.

progress for Village use of Property

Bill iiills was discussed. It presentecl
the possibility of usin� the Villa�;e

pool and/or ice skating rink after its
present use is terminate�i. This includes
40 acres of land at the seivage plant
o�vned by the Village. Darrel Leipold
