The Par?c Commission met on the above date

A discussion of our five year plan and of FI��F YEAR PLAN

ancl Ken Roseland, of Eciina; and the Orono
Planning Commission Chairman, Frecl Paisson�
to otir January 19 meeting. She was also
requested to obtain some five year plans
from other villa�es . t�le also �rent over
tl�e forms that are filled ot�t tahen applying
for Federal grants .
The Commission discussec� and recommendec� SKATING RIiVKS
that outdoor skatinn rinks be flooded, and
if possible sno�� fences put up to protect
them from t}ie wind, 1Ue sizg�;ested on the

The commission recommenc�s to the l�illage REAPPOIi�TP-IENTS F
Ca�incil that Jarl and Dorrel be reappointecl APPOI�IT'1EA1TS
to the Park Commission , since this is the
last meeting of thcir present tliree year
ternis , and that Edward Stanke be apnointed
to fill a vacancy,. It is also rec�uested
that we have a Councilman ap�ointed for
regular attendance at_ our meetings.
The commission stressed that because of the NBED F�R FULL CO`i'tISSION
zecessity of continuity in preparations for
grants for park l�enn, we need a full and
active park comr�ission immediately.
