Tlie Park Commission met on the above
date on Big Islanc� ivitli the follo�,�ins�
members present: Chairman norrel , Jarl ,
Ogland, Parten, and i�Jhite. Absent : Fahlin,
Jones , Panuska, Smith, and jVysocicy.
The purpose of the meeting at Big Island was BIG ISLAND PICiJIC
ttvo fold: first to have a l�icnic supper
and �et to know tne various members and
their ivives a little better, second, a
boat tour around Big Island and an
opportunity to walk aroui�c� it,
The meeting and picnic supper (corn on the
cob, hot dogs and apple pie) �vas arran�ed
by Jim Ogland. Transportation to and from
thc island i�as provided by L. E, Sclinic}icis
of the llnited States Po�ver Se�uaclron aboard
his 36' hoi�s�boat. Al1 those present had
a fine time and felt tliey had learned a
�reat deal and now are in a much better
position to make recommendations concerning
BiU Island,
'�tr. Kilbane has as}:ed anproval to �red�e a CONDITI0�IAL USE PERi�TIT
channel into his nroperty on Bi� Island. Big Isl�nrl.
lVe vie��ed tiiis area ancl will give tlie Kilbane
dredging reauest further study.
Each of tlie members present was �?iven a 'IAPS
long sought after map of �rono sllowing
lacations of all la1:e accesses , public
docks , existin�; parlcs , etc.
