PROPOSAL INFORMATION
Applicant: Wayzata Country Club
Public Water Name: N.A. DNR ID#: County: Hennepin County
Project Description(by Area Hydrologist): Wayzata Country Club has redesigned their irrigation system to increase the acreage to
75 acres from 40 acres. There is also a new well to supply water for the system. The old well pumped at 1000 gallons per minute.
The new well pumps at 1100 gallons per minute. The new system has a weather station and calculates the evaportranspiration for
the siute to prevent overwatering. Wayzata Country Club has requested that the permit be amended to reflect the new well, the new
rate, and the new acreage. It appears that the authorized volume will also need to be increased.

Mr. Richter,
I spoke with you this past fall about completing our amendment for our watering
permit. Bill Irving began the process, but left for another job before he had completed it.
Therefore, I have taken the task of completing the following information:
1. The change in acreage is due to a new irrigation system being installed.
2. Map is enclosed with old irrigation system clearly marked
3. Map is enclosed with the new irrigation system clearly marked and the well
location is marked
4. Conservations practices include: new computerized automated system,
individual head control, weather station and powerful software programs
allow for precise watering (also considering the above features, based on
evapo-transportation.
5. Water well record and pumping teat data for new well
If there is anything else that you might need, please do not hesitate to call me at 952-475-
9761.
Respectfully, wwnn"u0-NAC 11.1
