Dear Jeanne,
Greetings. This is in regards to the conversation we held several months in which you
suggested I send you a letter introducing our organization to the community.
Heart to Heart Ministries is a legal 501 C-3 non-profit corporation formed in August of
1990. I am the founder and president. I started Heart to Heart in an apartment of a
quadupeligic individual I cared for personally for almost three years. During that time I
operated a food outreach program to the socially outcast in the inner city. Also, during
that time I attended and obtained a 2 year certificate in chemical dependancy counseling
which proved very helpful with most individuals I was coming in contact with.
In 1992, I officially became a legal provider agency which allowed me to hire people to
serve the disabled community. My wife, Kim, is a public health nurse of ten years and has
overseen our operation for over four years.
As if June 30, 1996, we sold off the health care portion of the ministry. In the past year, I
became a licensed minister through I.M.F. (International Ministerial Fellowship)based out
of Atlanta. We have occupied the building at 850 Wayzata Blvd.-- that Wayzata Learning
Center used to be in--since June 1, 1996.
We'll also be dba Wayzata Kidz Place--a Christian day care. We're very excited and
looking forward to serving God in this community.
We have a Friday night barbeque from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.--what we call "fun, family,
fellowship"--and I've enclosed a business card with hour church times.
