Staff conducted a preliminary review and contacted you on 3-21-2016 advising the site plan and landscape plan were not to scale. Another copy of the site plan and landscape plan were received via US mail on 3-26-2018. Based on the information provided we request the following items be submitted or revised in order for your application to be considered complete and for the plan review to continue: 1. Certificate of Survey. The copy of the survey submitted is a reduced 8%2 x 11"and is not scalable. The setbacks are called out, but not measurable. It appears the survey was recently updated (3-15-2018). Please have the surveyor provide you full-size copies of the survey so the pool can accurately be shown and measurable. An Area Exhibit was submitted showing existing conditions which appears to be to scale. The proposed pool could be drawn on this copy. Please show the setbacks from the pool to the pool to the property lines. Any proposed grade changes should also be shown on the site plan submitted. Please note, our engineer has not reviewed the submitted plans, so additional comments may be forthcoming. A copy of the City's Site Plan requirements is enclosed. 2. Landscape Plan. A landscape plan was submitted, but is also not measurable. The plan should include the name of the individual performing the work. Any proposed patios, grading, sidewalks, retaining walls shown on the landscape plan should also be reflected on the survey. Your landscape plan should be consistent with the site plan. 3. Escrow&Escrow Agreement. Permits involving grading and/or review by the City's engineer require submittal of an escrow and an escrow agreement. The purpose of the escrow is to guarantee reimbursement to the City for out-of-pocket costs incurred during the review of your plans. Additionally this escrow will guarantee conformance with City Code Chapter 79 relating to erosion control and stormwater. The required escrow amount for this project is $1,000. The escrow agreement is enclosed. The property owner must sign the enclosed agreement and submit a check for$1,000. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD). Your project may trigger the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District's (MCWDs) permitting requirements; please contact the MCWD directly at 952-471-0590 regarding your project. Please note,the City of Orono will not issue a building permit without a copy of the MCWD permit or documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger any of their permitting requirements.
