MINUTES OF THE
ORONO CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
Thursday,August 2,2012
8:30 a.m.
Present: Mayor Lili McMillan, Council Members Aaron Printup and Dave Rahn; representing Staff were
City Administrator Jessica Loftus, Police Chief Correy Farniok, City Attorney Soren Mattick and
City Clerk Lin Vee
Chief Farniok outlined the elements of the Mound police service proposal. Council discussed budget
impacts, police services, staffing, transition, and timeline for Mound consideration of the Orono
proposal.
Public Works Director/City Engineer Jesse Struve and Stantec Engineer Darren Amundsen gave a brief
update on the Orono Orchard Road Reconstruction Project.
The meeting closed at 11:11 a.m.
