Potential Questions:
1. Please explain why you are interested in the appointment and what you, as a City Council
member, would offer to the City Council and the community.
2. What's your thinking on the City's strategic direction and how would you change it if you
had the ability?
3. Describe your experience with plans that guide the City, such as the city budget and the
Comprehensive Plan.
4. Please describe what you believe are the major concerns of the City residents and
businesses. How do you think these concerns should be met by the City?
5. How do you feel about regulating your neighbors?
6. What do you think will be your biggest challenge in this position? What is your biggest
concern?
7. How do you facilitate the development and maintenance of a positive relationship with the
City Council, the city staff and the community?
