Mr. Vitas,
The City received complaints of water ponding and overtopping Countryside Drive
West in the proximity of your property and the intersection of Old Crystal Bay Road
and Countryside Drive West. You requested a review and the City completed an
investigation, modeling, mitigation design and an emergency drain clearing within the
development. Since, the emergency drain clearing downstream at the storm pond
behind 2715 Countryside Drive West the city has received near record rainfalls and
the area in question, while wet seems to be operating as designed and impacts to the
area are localized, infrequent, and limited in time.
The City's investigation, modeling and design work is complete at this time. The
City has no plans to alter the drainage features based upon the findings mentioned in
the above investigation.
