City Engineer,Jesse Struve, has reviewed the survey dated 6-17-13 and has the following comments. Please address the
engineers concerns and submit two, full-size, scalable survey's with the information requested.
Also, attached is a copy of the zoning permit escrow agreement. The escrow amount was paid, but we need your
signature on the agreement. Please sign and return at your earliest convenience.

I have review the permit for a proposed berm at 3850 Watertown Rd and have the following comments:
1. How much dirt is being hauled in for the proposed berm? Please provide earthwork calculations.
2. Is the dirt being hauled in or mined from another part of the property? If it is being mined on-site,the proposed
survey should reflect where this dirt is coming from.
3. The survey should show the edge of the road.
4. What is the purpose of the berm? Is it to prevent runoff from the roadway from entering the property? If so,
there needs to be a defined ditch designed to handle the proposed runoff from a 100 yr rain/snow melt event.
5. The application will need a Minnehaha Creek Watershed District erosion control permit and may require a
wetland permit due to the wetland on the property.
