Sec. 78-1433. - Height restrictions. ORONO COPY
No accessory building or structure in an R district shall exceed the height of the principal
building, nor shall an accessory building or structure exceed 30 feet in height.

Thank you for the narrative. The footing size seems excessive for the size of flag
pole described. Please provide a copy of the manufacturer specifications.

The footing would be concrete as recommended but the flag pole manufacture
. Concrete footing of 5 ft round by 7 foot deep. The aluminum
Pole if 30 ft and lighted with low voltage solar .

I see that you've dropped off a permit application for the flagpole. We will need a site plan in order to issue the permit.
Can you please drop off 2 copies of your survey indicating the flagpole location? Doesn't have to be the most current as-
built, we just need a good idea of the placement.
Also, I'm looking for an update regarding my August 8th letter and the submittal of the as-built survey.

I've attached the permit application. The flagpole should be at least 5 feet from the rear property line and at least 10 feet
from the side lot line. Also as you're in the RR-1A district it wouldn't be permitted within the Front yard area (100-foot
setback from Watertown Road property line).

Within any RR-1A one-family rural residential district, the only permitted accessory uses and structures are the
following:
(1) Buildings temporarily located for purposes of construction on the premises for a period not to exceed time
necessary for such constructing.
