Unpaid charges are assessed to your property along with a $25.00 assessment fee, a $2.50 County fee and 4% interest for 13 months charged accordingly. Staff inspected the property and determined the work was done without proper City permits or required inspections, including a final inspection. Conducting work within Orono without a permit is in violation of City Code Section 86-37 (copy attached). This letter will serve as your notice that the property must be brought into compliance before Friday, December 9, 2011.
