SYSTEM CONFORMITY (1-3):

- Conditional Use Permit
Dear Ms. Mabusth:
As per the terms of the Conditional Use Permit, Resolution No. 2956, adopted April 22,
1991, granted to the Spring Hill Land Company Limited Partnership by the City of Orono
and by the Partnership's letter to the City dated April 22, 1991, please accept the following
as Spring Hill's fourth annual report:
1) The Spring Hill Center Complex continues to operate as a Conference Center
contracting with organizations as required by your ordinance for conferences,
retreats and educational purposes only.
2) The regular lessess of the facility during 1994 were as follows:
a) Freshwater Foundation
b) Woodridge Church
3) Woodridge Church conducted regular religious services on the premises on
Sundays and used the premises for other church related activities during certain
other days of the week.
4) Freshwater Foundation operated its offices on the site regularly during 1994 and
sponsored occasional events.
5) Other activities included conferences, retreats or educational seminars for Dorsey
&Whitney, Mn. Humanities, Resource Day, Minneapolis Public Schools, Highview
High School, Communication Workers, Sierra Club, and several different groups
from the University of Minnesota.
Also, Swedish Television CH1 Light Entertainment from Stockholm, Sweden,
setup offices, did broadcasting and resided at the Center for nearly two months
during the summer of 1994.

6) Operation of the Spring Hill Center Complex continues in 1995 with Freshwater
Foundation and Woodridge Church being the present lessess. The conference
center/church operations continue as permitted.
