Lath that marks edge of buffer is in place for the most part except along the graded portion of the buffer. Did a good job of preserving a good portion of the existing buffer. 2. Sod has been recently placed and it appears to be placed in the correct location with no encroachment into the buffer. 3. Buffer was recently seeded and at this time the only vegetation is the cover crop of oats which is sparse. Top soil along the buffer areas seeded is sparse. 4. Erosion control silt fence was installed to protect the wetland. It has been affective. There is one small area (approximately 10 linear feet along the silt fence) that sediment has built up due to slope erosion from watering. Silt fence has about 6 more inches of capacity until silt flows into the wetland. Recommendations: Re-spread or remove sediment build up along silt fence. Check back at a later date on seeding establishment in the buffer. Would be helpful if lath marking the buffer was added in the area graded adjacent/within the buffer. Let me know if you have questions or need any additional write-up. John f 6/21/2006
