Dear Lyle:
We have reviewed the plans for 2709 Walters Port Lane, dated October 17, 2007. The plans propose to
replace the tiebacks and dead men for the existing seawalls on each side of the boat channel. We have the
following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• Provide a construction plan clearly showing the extents of the tieback repairs and construction
limits to the seawalls on both sides of the channel.
• The tieback and dead men design is adequate and in compliance with the International Building
Code. ,,
• We understand that Bonestroo will be providing construction observation for the project.
Construction observation should occur prior to casting the concrete for the tiebacks. Please
coordinate the construction observation through Brian Fleming at(651) 967-4567.
