SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
VILLAGE OF ORONO 9:30 A.M., Nov-3, 1962
Present: D.J.Russell,Chairman; Wm.A.Curry,Wm.T.Mills,
5.M.Halperin and R.L.Searlee
The meeting was called for the purpose of site examinations
of the following properties:
Cleveland - Kramer. Subdivision �,i5
Action was deferred on recommendations for this subdivision
pending identification of iron markers and a plat showing,a road
and the topography of the site Wm.T.Mills to meet with owner at
a,later date. Seelal.sogminutes of the meeting of Oct,,25,1962;;
Thorpe Bros. Subdivision �(�
The following recommendations were made:
a) Cul -de -sacs eliminated by extension of streets to boundary
roads,Fox Street,0rono #87 and 004146.
b) Certain unnumbered lots to be eliminated by combination
with other lotspbecause of low land.
c) Attempt to eliminate narrow accesses to certain lots.
di Drainage easement for creek in N.E.corner of subdivision.
e A new preliminary plat with lots numbered for greater ease
of identification and boundary roads shown as Fox Street, Orono #
87 as well as Co. #146,
Baltuff- Building Permits
Recommend that the requestpas presented by Chet Lind of the
Smaby,Bermel& "Cappy"Jones Co.9be denied. There is,however,a
favorable possibility of making two sites out of three lots, 27,
28 and 29 by moving house existing on Lot 28,or by purchasing
half of Lot 26.
