PLANNING COMMISSION
VILLAGE OF ORONO NOVEMRER 21, 1966
The meeting was called to order by CALL TO ORDER
Chairman D. J. Russell at 7:35 P.M.
Members present were D. J. Russell,
William A. Curry, H. S. Rice and
R. F. Dongoski. Absent: None.
N. E. Dyer representing the Shell
Oil Company was present. The
concensus was entirely negative in
respect to a building permit on the
corner of_ County Highways #19 and
#15. Several reasons were discussed
including the traffic problems and
the need for a fifth filling station_
in Navarre. Also mentioned was the
desirability of such a plan in the
face of the original plan of Jim
Hawks for this site.
It was moved by Rice, seconded by
Dongoski, that recommendation for
the approval of the request of
Washington Scientific Industries
be recorded. Motion, Ayes (4) -
Nays (0).
There .being no further business,
Curry moved, Dongoski seconded,
the meeting, be adjourned. Motion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
