MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />VILLAGE OF ORONO NOVEMRER 21, 1966 <br />The meeting was called to order by CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman D. J. Russell at 7:35 P.M. <br />Members present were D. J. Russell, <br />William A. Curry, H. S. Rice and <br />R. F. Dongoski. Absent: None. <br />N. E. Dyer representing the Shell <br />Oil Company was present. The <br />concensus was entirely negative in <br />respect to a building permit on the <br />corner of_ County Highways #19 and <br />#15. Several reasons were discussed <br />including the traffic problems and <br />the need for a fifth filling station_ <br />in Navarre. Also mentioned was the <br />desirability of such a plan in the <br />face of the original plan of Jim <br />Hawks for this site. <br />It was moved by Rice, seconded by <br />Dongoski, that recommendation for <br />the approval of the request of <br />Washington Scientific Industries <br />be recorded. Motion, Ayes (4) - <br />Nays (0). <br />There .being no further business, <br />Curry moved, Dongoski seconded, <br />the meeting, be adjourned.
